Calling new and prenatal moms in Oak Park-River Forest

Join our 6-week group for new baby education and support with other new moms like you!

Come together with other moms in a nurturing, non-judgmental space for support, education, and connection. You’ll be able to ask questions, share your experiences, learn valuable information, and discuss the uniqueness of a time with much joy but also anxiety when expecting or being home with a new baby.

Weekly Education topics include

  • Management of expectations: Navigating new roles for whole family; What to expect: at the hospital, in your transition home, and how to learn from your baby

  • What does your newborn need: Emotional, Physical, and Social-Emotional; Creating nurturing, womb-like environment for your baby during their '4th trimester'

  • Feeding Education: Understanding your baby's cues; Tips and techniques for Breast, Bottle, & Starting Solids

  • Creating Family Flow: Finding a new rhythm with baby, and mindful family practices; Helping siblings connect with baby

  • Sleep: Creating environment for sleep, teaching sleep skills, Lengthening daytime and nighttime sleep, what to expect developmentally

  • Taking care of yourself: Learn how to sprinkle mindfulness and meditation into your day to stress less + appreciate more at home with your family


New Session beginning June 9!

Wednesdays 7-8:30 via zoom for 6 weeks (June 9, 16, 23, 30 and July 7, 21)

Lindsay is a DONA trained postpartum doula, COFI trained group facilitator, mindfulness guide, and co-author of the book Peaceful Mama, the mind, body & baby connection. She loves caring for and supporting families as they adjust with their new baby or babies.
